MerchantTribe is offered as both an open-source project and a managed, hosted service. Our free, open-source version is licensed under the Open Software License 3 which means that you can get our source code for free! One requirement of the open-source license is that you share any custom programming changes you make with the community under the same terms. That's only fair right?

We offer a hosted version of MerchantTribe. We manage all the technical details for you. Software, support and hosting are all included in the monthly price. We provide automatic, free updates to your store so you don't have to worry about keeping up with the latest releases and patches. We also provide multi-server scaling so as your web site grows you can be confident that it will continue to handle all of your new traffic.
